About Lindsay
Lindsay Liben is the founder and lead psychotherapist of Liben Psychotherapy. From providing empathic support to encouraging internal exploration, Lindsay has always been a go-to resource for empowerment and emotional actualization. By helping her clients get in touch with their truest selves, they can bring contentment into their lives and achieve greater personal and professional satisfaction.
Lindsay works with individuals facing distress around life transitions, fertility challenges, academic concerns, parenting issues, and career changes. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjustment issues, and helping her patients access their truest selves.
Lindsay’s approach is warm, sensitive and non-judgmental. She provides her patients with objective insight into the problem areas in their lives. She also offers strategies to help her clients clarify their issues, discover their authentic needs and develop effective coping mechanisms.
Lindsay graduated with honors from her Masters of Social Work program at New York University, Silver School of Social Work. While there she honed her clinical skills in Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Short-term treatment and Attachment Theory. She completed her training in maternal mental health from Selini Institute. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Lehigh University. In addition to a private practice, Lindsay also works at the New York University Wellness Exchange
